TOKYO -- North Korean IT engineers are using AI and other more sophisticated technology to gain overseas employment, fooling governments and corporations as they earn dollars for Kim Jong Un's regime.

In August, the U.S. Justice Department said it had indicted a man in Tennessee for facilitating the fraudulent employment of North Korean information technology engineers at U.S. and U.K. companies using a laptop farm.
