TOKYO -- A Tokyo Stock Exchange employee is being investigated by Japan's Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission for suspected insider trading, Nikkei learned on Tuesday.

According to sources, the person in question is a young TSE employee suspected of buying and selling stocks based on corporate disclosure information that had not yet been made public.
