TOKYO -- The president of Japan's largest talent agency, Johnny and Associates, has quit after acknowledging decades of child sex abuse by its late founder, Johnny Kitagawa.

This comes after months of abuse allegations from Kitagawa's former employees spanning more than 50 years, with possibly hundreds of victims -- some of whom were in elementary school at the time.
