TOKYO -- As Japan welcomes more foreign tourists and workers, it is also seeing a rise in the deaths of foreign nationals. Companies that take care of the deceased are taking on vital roles by helping bereaved families navigate unfamiliar processes.

Toudaisha, a Tokyo-area company that handles remains repatriation is one such business.
