TOKYO -- Johnny & Associates, Japan's largest talent agency, has decided to divide its operations, Nikkei learned Saturday, in the wake of a sexual abuse scandal that involved its late former president Johnny Kitagawa.

A new company will be established to handle the existing talent agency business. The current company will be dedicated to compensating victims of sexual assaults by Kitagawa. The new management company may tap its fan base for name suggestions.
