SEOUL -- Han Duck-soo, South Korea's independent presidential contender and former prime minister, said that he would strike a "win-win" tariffs deal with the U.S. if he is elected as the country's leader in the June election.

"There is always some room for cooperation and good communication among policymakers of the United States and Korea. So I feel rather good about expecting some acceptable final results from that," Han said at a meeting with foreign correspondents in Seoul on Wednesday. "We will do our best making win-win solutions."
