TOKYO -- It has been nearly 20 years since turf-mad Hong Kongers lost their hearts to a horse like Golden Sixty.

When the Australian-bred, locally-trained gelding enters the starting gate on Sunday ahead of the Steward's Cup -- the first leg of the Hong Kong Triple Crown -- he will be attempting to equal the 17-race winning streak set by Silent Witness, the legendary horse that the Time magazine listed as one of the world's most important "people" in 2004.
