ISLAMABAD -- Cricket matches between India and Pakistan are vibrant affairs that light up global tournaments. But tensions between the geopolitical rivals are jeopardizing the sport's biggest prize -- the World Cup for the one-day version of the game.
Both teams are refusing to compete in each other's country. India has said it won't play in the Asia Cup in Pakistan in September, and its cricket board is demanding the tournament be shifted to the United Arab Emirates or Qatar.
