Cable maker BizLink expands globally to tap localization trend

Tesla and Dell supplier aims to cash in on booming EV and chip sectors

NEW TAIPEI CITY, Taiwan -- BizLink, a Taiwan-listed maker of cable connectors, is expanding capacity globally to capture demand from chipmakers and electric vehicle manufacturers for more localized production, as well as to alleviate COVID-19 supply chain disruptions.

The supplier to Tesla, Dell, Siemens and others already has manufacturing sites around the world, including in China, Taiwan, Mexico and Malaysia.
