TOKYO -- Japanese business clothing retailer Aoyama Trading will perform a due diligence check this month at an Indonesian factory to mitigate the risk of human rights abuses, Nikkei has learned.

The screening will be conducted at a garment factory in Central Java province. The location hires 1,300 people, making it one of the largest suppliers in Aoyama's network.
