NEW YORK -- The U.S. moved Thursday to block goods from 26 Chinese cotton traders and warehouse facilities believed to be linked to forced Uyghur labor, a step that stands to intensify pressure on supply chains.

Companies in provinces across China, including Henan, Jiangsu, Hubei and Fujian, have been added to the forced-labor Entity List, the Department of Homeland Security said. The list now has 76 entities.
