PHNOM PENH -- American fashion brands say they are less likely to expand garment orders this year due to weak demand and concern over the uncertain economic outlook in the U.S.

The prediction comes from a recent survey of 30 fashion companies, the majority with more than 1,000 employees, conducted between April and June and released by the United States Fashion Industry Association.
