CP Group tycoon predicts limited impact of US tariffs on ASEAN

TOKYO -- Dhanin Chearavanont, senior chairman of Thailand's CP Group, says that while ASEAN countries will not be immune to Trump's tariffs, the levies won't have "a big impact."

In a keynote address to Nikkei's annual Future of Asia conference in Tokyo on Friday, Dhanin also said Chinese manufacturers will feel the U.S. tariffs.
