TOKYO -- Toshiba has received interest from a total of 10 possible buyout sponsors and investors after the company said it would solicit proposals for strategic options for management last month.
The 10 companies have submitted confidentiality pledges through financial adviser Nomura, Toshiba said. These companies have been provided with detailed information about Toshiba's business and finances.
