TOKYO -- Chinese electric vehicle startup, Xpeng Motors, has become the first automaker to adopt an artificial intelligence microchip for autonomous driving developed by U.S. tech company Nvidia, putting it ahead of industry giants such as Toyota Motor and Volvo Cars.
