Chinese auto parts makers and tech suppliers gain European foothold

MUNICH -- Tucked away from the fancy booths at the IAA Mobility auto show, a director of a Chinese parts manufacturer showed Nikkei Asia a few dozen sensors, unspectacular by comparison to the eye-catching vehicles on display but essential in some combustion-engine, hybrid and EV models.
