Czech automaker Skoda to produce EVs in Vietnam, Hanoi says

Volkswagen-owned company would join BYD, Chery, VinFast with factories in communist country

HO CHI MINH CITY -- Czech automaker Skoda is expected to expand its factory in Vietnam so it can start making electric vehicles, the Vietnamese government said, adding an EV rival to VinFast.
