Toyota to sell proprietary home EV chargers in Japan

Automaker hopes bundled sales will boost adoption and encourage repeat purchases

NAGOYA, Japan -- Toyota Motor will start selling proprietary home chargers for its electric vehicles in Japan as early as fall, based on the view that it would be able to popularize its EVs more easily if it offered its own chargers.
