PIEDMONT, South Carolina -- Isuzu Motors held a groundbreaking ceremony in South Carolina on Wednesday for its first U.S. commercial vehicle plant that it completely owns, which the Japanese automaker hopes will help it respond to President Donald Trump's tariff policies.
