Nissan sees recovering vehicle demand in the U.S., other markets

TOKYO -- Nissan Motor expects an annual rise of just 1.1% to 250 billion yen ($1.9 billion) in operating income in the current business year through next March, as it sees higher costs of materials dragging on an expansion in global sales.
