Suzuki buys renewable energy for India plant, cutting emissions 6%

TOKYO -- Suzuki Motor has begun to buy wind and solar power for a plant in the Indian state of Gujarat from a local renewable energy provider, a move expected to eliminate about 6% of the Japanese automaker's global carbon dioxide emissions.
