TOKYO -- Toyota Motor has tapped Japanese oil refiner Idemitsu Kosan to develop mass-production technology for solid-state batteries for electric vehicles, which the automaker aims to market as early as 2027.

TOKYO -- Toyota Motor has tapped Japanese oil refiner Idemitsu Kosan to develop mass-production technology for solid-state batteries for electric vehicles, which the automaker aims to market as early as 2027.
