TOKYO -- Canadian retailer Alimentation Couche-Tard said on Thursday that it has withdrawn its bid for Seven & i Holdings, the operator of the 7-Eleven convenience store chain, citing a lack of constructive engagement, nearly a year after the proposal first came to light.
