TOKYO -- Canadian convenience store operator Alimentation Couche-Tard said Monday that it was "disappointed" by Seven & i Holdings' decision "not to engage in friendly discussions," but is still seeking to seal a proposed $38.5 billion acquisition of rival chain 7-Eleven.
