Japan builder Shimizu acquires Singapore luxury interior firm

TOKYO -- Japanese general contractor Shimizu has acquired all shares of a Singapore-based contractor that handles store interiors for European and U.S. luxury brands, aiming to lay the groundwork for new business in Southeast Asia.
