LAS VEGAS, U.S. -- Asian startups are scrambling to tap America's appetite for consumer electronics -- and with good reason. The Consumer Technology Association, organizer of CES, the world's biggest consumer electronics and technology expo, predicts U.S. consumer tech will log a record $422 billion in revenue this year, up roughly 4% from last year.
