Applied Materials sued by China rival over alleged trade secrets theft

TAIPEI/NEW YORK -- Chinese semiconductor equipment maker Beijing E-town Semiconductor Technology has sued Applied Materials, accusing the top U.S. chip tool rival of stealing trade secrets, according to the company's stock exchange filing.
