TOKYO -- Japanese engineering company IHI will pull out of biomass power plant operations in the U.S., Nikkei has learned. As the administration of President Donald Trump pushes back against decarbonization efforts, IHI decided to end the U.S. biomass energy projects and transfer financial resources to more profitable businesses, such as aircraft engines.
