OSAKA -- Japanese drugmaker Shionogi is planning to build a plant in the U.S. to produce the antibiotic cefiderocol, Nikkei learned Friday, seeking to switch exports to local production as President Donald Trump plans to impose high tariffs on pharmaceuticals.
