PILSEN, Czech Republic/OSAKA -- Panasonic Holdings held an opening ceremony for a new building at its Czech Republic heat pump factory on Friday after spending 45 billion yen ($306 million) to raise production capacity there to 700,000 units a year, 4.7 times the previous capacity.
