US indoor strawberry grower to set up Japan R&D facility

JERSEY CITY, New Jersey -- U.S. premium strawberry-growing startup Oishii will invest over 5 billion yen ($34 million) as part of its plan to open a research and development facility in Japan to create indoor farming systems and produce varieties suited to such systems.
