Fukushima nuclear plant decommissioning seen overrunning estimate

TOKYO -- The amount spent or budgeted so far to decommission the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant has reached 5.2 trillion yen ($35.4 billion), it was learned Friday, making it highly likely that the grand total will exceed the government's estimate of 8 trillion yen.
