Japan to help Romania generate green electricity destined for Ukraine

Trillions of dollars to be invested to boost local grid and exports

FRANKFURT, Germany -- Japan and Romania plan to jointly invest trillions of dollars on decarbonization projects in the European country, with electricity from renewable sources to be used not just locally but also exported to Ukraine, Nikkei has learned.
