Japan's Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency plans to facilitate more communication with its counterparts through opening a new office in Bangkok.

TOKYO -- Japan's pharmaceutical regulatory authority will open its first overseas office in Bangkok as early as 2024, aiming for it to become an entry point for Japanese pharmaceutical companies into fast-growing Southeast Asian markets.
