The remote Pulau Wayang islands in Indonesia's eastern Raja Ampat region. The government Tuesday revoked the nickel mining licenses of four companies operating in the area famous for its marine biodiversity.

JAKARTA -- The Indonesian government on Tuesday revoked four companies' nickel mining licenses in Raja Ampat, Southwest Papua, following concerns over environmental damage in the richly biodiverse area popular with divers.
