Axiata's net profit down on higher taxes

Cautions revenue may trail this year's 3%-4% growth guidance

KUALA LUMPUR (Nikkei Markets) - Malaysia's biggest wireless carrier Axiata Group said Thursday its third quarter net profit fell 9.4% from a year earlier, hurt by higher taxes and absence of contribution from its former Singapore unit M1.
