Japan's Mitsubishi Estate joins US data center race with $15bn build-up

TOKYO -- Japan's Mitsubishi Estate plans to build 14 data centers in the U.S. at an estimated total cost of about 2.3 trillion yen ($15 billion), in a bet on tech companies' need for capacity in the world's biggest market, Nikkei has learned.
