SEOUL/TOKYO -- Short-selling will be allowed for all shares on Seoul's stock market, starting Monday, five years after a ban was imposed, the longest period in the history of the country's stock market.

Analysts say shares in industries such as defense and shipbuilding may face short selling pressure when a ban on the practice is lifted. (Nikkei montage/Source photos by Kim Jaewon, AP and Getty Images)
