Australia releases guidelines for world-1st under-16 social media ban

SYDNEY -- Social media platforms will be expected to seek out and shut down the accounts of underage users in Australia, and use "multi-layered" checks to prevent children under 16 from signing back up, to comply with an impending teen social media ban, official guidelines released Tuesday show.
