TOKYO -- Sony Group on Thursday announced that it has appointed Hiroki Totoki, the company's executive deputy president and chief financial officer, as president and chief operating officer, effective April 1. Kenichiro Yoshida, the current president, is to remain chairman and CEO with representative authority for the group, confirming Nikkei's earlier report. Totoki will retain the CFO post.
