TOKYO -- Japan's Ryohin Keikaku, owner of the Muji retail brand, will open small stores specializing in inexpensive items in China, starting this summer, its first such outlets located overseas, Nikkei has learned. Most items in the stores will priced at 500 yen ($3.20) or less to win business from middle-class shoppers, whom the retailer failed to draw to its larger stores.
