SoftBank Group posts first annual profit in four years amid AI pivot

TOKYO -- SoftBank Group on Tuesday reported a 1.1 trillion yen ($7.7 billion) net profit for the fiscal year ended in March, the first time its first annual earnings have finished in the black in four years, helped by improved valuation of its stake in T-Mobile.
