MediaTek to use TSMC's 2-nm chip tech to stay in AI race

TAIPEI -- MediaTek will start using Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.'s latest 2-nanometer chipmaking technology as early as September, and all of the contract chipmaker's cutting-edge tech that follows, in an effort to stay competitive in the AI era.
