Mitsubishi Electric slows capacity upgrade for power semiconductor plant

TOKYO -- Japan's Mitsubishi Electric held a ceremony Wednesday to mark the completion of a new building at a plant where it makes energy-efficient power semiconductors using silicon carbide (SiC), but said it will delay plans to add further production capacity there.
