Indeed, Glassdoor to lay off 1,300 as parent Recruit shifts to AI

TOKYO -- Japanese staffing group Recruit Holdings will lay off around 1,300 people at U.S. subsidiaries Glassdoor and Indeed, the company said Friday, amid a pivot toward artificial intelligence.
