HO CHI MINH CITY -- LG Electronics added coders earlier this month to its vehicle and home appliance businesses in Vietnam, where it traditionally focused on manufacturing. The addition of software jobs contributes to the fast-growing economy's bid to move up the value chain from factories toward frontline innovation.
