Nvidia deepens ties with South Korea's government and tech titans

Country seeks own AI model, though some fret over dependence on single company

GYEONGJU, South Korea/TAIPEI -- Nvidia will work more closely with South Korea's government and biggest tech companies, including Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, to build out the country's artificial intelligence infrastructure as the Lee Jae Myung administration aims for a sovereign AI model, the American AI chip titan said on Friday.
