SMIC says more Chinese chip players 'perfectly' replacing foreign rivals

TAIPEI -- China's top chipmaker Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corp. says a growing number of domestic chip companies are rapidly gaining market share over their foreign competitors, with some showing tenfold growth over the past two years.
