TOKYO/FRANKFURT, Germany -- Hitachi has collaborated with Nvidia to develop an AI-based system that inspects the safety of railway infrastructure, the Japanese industrial group said Tuesday, as it looks to make maintenance work more efficient with real-time monitoring.
