Jakarta breaks ground on new subway in bid to ease traffic

JAKARTA -- Indonesian President Joko Widodo broke ground on Wednesday on Jakarta's second subway line, which will eventually stretch 84 kilometers to neighboring provinces, as the government aims to solve the capital's crippling traffic congestion and develop its suburbs.
